Alfredo Cordiviola holds a degree in Letters from the University of Buenos Aires (1986), a Master of Literature Theory from UFPE (1993) and a PhD in Hispanic and Latin American Studies from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom (1998). She completed a postdoctoral degree at the University of Buenos Aires (2011-2012) and was Visiting Scholar at New York University (2016-2017). He is a Full Professor in Literary Theory and teaches at the Department of Letters and the Graduate Program in Letters of the Federal University of Pernambuco. CNPQ 1D Researcher, directs the Latin American Colonial Studies Research Group.
