Degree in Philology (Degree) with Specialization in Hispanic Linguistics from the Complutense University of Madrid (1986). PhD in Philology in the Program: Historical Linguistics, Language History and Text Criticism (Department of Spanish Language, Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature of the Complutense University of Madrid, 1991). Postdoctoral Internship at PROLING - UFPB in the area of Romance Lexicology with CAPES Scholarship - PNPD Program. High School Teacher of Spanish Language and Literature, Latin, Philosophy and History (Colegio Marín Amat, González Cañadas Study Center, Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles School - Madrid, Spain). Coordinator of the University Orientation Course at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spanish Language and Text Commentary). In the Higher Magisterium, he taught at the Complutense University of Madrid, the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Ciudad Real Campus) and the International University SEK-IE (Campus Segovia). He collaborated in the revision and writing tasks of the Diccionario General de la Lengua Española, at the RAE Lexicography Seminar. He has given lectures at international universities: Center de Recherches sur l'Espagne Médievale (Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris III) and Université de l´Aix-en-Provence. Professor of IT at the Colegio de España (Salamanca), Universitas Castellae (Valladolid), the University of Vanderbilt-in-Spain (Madrid), and the Complutense University of Madrid. He was Academic Director of Seneca Educación (Madrid), and Seneca Education Training Institute (São Paulo). Translator of academic texts at the Fundación Germán Sánchez Ruipérez and at the publishing houses Cátedra, Visor and Olalla (Spain). In Brazil, he has lectured at university institutions in the country: UFRJ, UFPB, Higher Center Anísio Teixeira, FUNESO-UNESF, CESV, UECE, UERN, UESPI, UFES and UEPB. He was a teacher of Spanish Language and Spanish Language Literature and Latin Language and Literature at FUNESO-UNESF and FAESC. Postgraduate Professor of Specialization at FUNESO-UNESF (PE), FAESC (PE), UESPI, FASNE (PE), CESMAC (AL) and UFPE. He is currently Associate Professor 3 at the Federal University of Pernambuco. He was Head of the Department of Letters (2010-2013 and 2014-2016), Deputy Chief Pro-tempore of the Department of Letters (2014), Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Letters (2016-2019). Founder and Coordinator of the Spanish Language Course EAD (2009-2010) and Coordinator of the Spanish Language Area (2007-2009). He is a permanent professor in the UFPE Graduate Program in Letters in the areas of concentration: Linguistics and Literary Theory. Leads a research group recognized by CNPq where it develops two projects: OLD AND NEW CONTRIBUTIONS OF GRAMMATICS IN E / LE EDUCATION: DESCRIPTION, CONTEXTUALIZATION, COMPARISON, HISTORY, in the area of Linguistics [UFPE / PRO: 23076.007811 / 2018-91]; and HISTORY, SOCIETY AND IDEOLOGY IN SPANISH LITERATURE THROUGH TEXTS [UFPE / PRO: 23076.007812 / 2018-35]. He has published 41 articles in Indexed Journals and 124 Papers in Proceedings. It has 45 Book Chapters and 44 Books published. Participated in 299 Events in Brazil and Abroad. Presented 253 papers, lectures and / or seminars. Supervised 1 Doctoral Thesis, 1 Postdoctoral Internship, 7 Master's Dissertations, 8 PIBIC / UFPE / CNPq Projects, 36 Specialization Papers and 20 Graduate TCC.
